  • Agermos Chamber Music Project

Agermos was founded in 2016 as a Seattle based woodwind trio, dedicated to advancing overlooked wind chamber music, and championing new compositions. Selected for the 2018 Jack Straw Artist Support Program, Agermos has premiered 8 new compositions, and was featured in the 2018 Seattle Chamber Music Society’s Summer Festival Family Concert at Benaroya Hall.

Accomplished instructors as well, Agermos has provided masterclasses and chamber music coaching in Seattle Schools for the past 7 years. Most recently, Agermos members coached the winning large woodwind ensemble of the 2023-24 WMEA State Solo & Ensemble contest.

  • Seattle Collaborative Orchestra

SCO started as a grassroots ensemble in the fall of 2012. Dr. Anna Edwards initially started this orchestra in response to her research concerning gender, leadership, and the clear under-representation of women conductors and composers in professional symphonies. Dr. Edwards wanted to offer a positive mentoring experience featuring the works of female composers that offered similar educational benefits to the Seattle Symphony’s “Side by Side” program while increasing diversity in the field.
